What does a typical day at CorporateFilming & FranchiseFilming look like for you?

There is no typical day at CorporateFilming for me! As a videographer, I never know where my shoots will take me. I’ve been all over the country with CF and worked with a very diverse array of clients–everyone from insurance salespeople to skywriters.

What do you like most about working with CorporateFilming & FranchiseFilming?

I love the team! They’re fun but professional–exactly the combination you want in a film crew.

How long have you been filming or editing? When did it start? 

I started filming and editing when I was in high school. It started with prank and stunt videos filmed on a VHS camcorder. I’m still not sure how I turned that into a career. 

We call ourselves “Passionate Storytellers” here at CorporateFilming & FranchiseFilming. What does that topic mean to you? How important is story in marketing? 

Every successful business owner is passionate about what they do. Video is the best way to communicate that passion. There’s nothing more inspiring than to actually see someone talk about themselves and tell their story. And obviously, we’re passionate about our own craft, so we know how to capture and communicate the driving force behind every business.

What have been your favorite projects with CorporateFilming and FranchiseFilming?

I’ve really enjoyed flying with the Skywriters over LA and Coachella. I filmed from a camera plane while the fleet wrote personalized messages in the sky. I also had a great time with our commercial for Screenmobile. It was a chance to put down the camera and wear my director’s hat. 

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work? What makes you unique? 

Outside of filming for work, I film for fun. I know that’s a boring answer, but it’s pretty much true. I also enjoy hiking, photography and nerdy board games. 

One final question. If you could give any video marketing advice…what would it be?   

Video content is a window into your business. A well-produced video can quickly present a portrait of your business with relatable details that are otherwise incommunicable. Put a face to your company!
