1. Add Videos to the About Us Page on Your Website

Aside from SEO purposes, adding videos to your website can benefit you in more ways than one. According to a video marketing report by the Aberdeen Group, websites that include videos generate 34% higher website conversion rates than websites without videos. When it comes to your About Us page, you have the opportunity to bring to life who you are and what you’re about in a creative and engaging way.

Beyond that, you can capture attention and interest from franchisee prospects as well. When it comes to absorbing and retaining information, people generally prefer visuals to text, and they have an easier time processing the message. By adding an informative and entertaining video to your About Us page, you can quickly show prospects why your franchise is a great investment. 2. Showcase a Day in the Life of a Franchisee

One of our favorite tactics at Franchise Filming is capturing real-life moments on video. Videos allow you to tell a story that goes beyond words. When it comes to generating franchisee interest, it’s crucial to tell a story that’s not only realistic but engaging. We do this by capturing what a day in the life of a franchisee is like on video. Videos like these are great because they give prospects an inside look at what they can expect as a franchisee, and it further helps them envision what their life could look like.

Capturing things like the hustle and bustle of the work day, the flexibility in franchising – such as being able to work your own hours and still make it to your kid’s soccer practice on time – in addition to other emotional moments and milestones, you’re able to showcase what it really means to be a franchisee with your brand. 3. Keep it Short

Now that you’re ready to add videos to your website, one final thing to keep in mind is to keep your videos short. As previously mentioned, videos can typically help people process information faster than text. However, if your video is long and unengaging, it defeats the purpose altogether. The goal with marketing videos is to keep them short, sweet and to the point. As a franchisor, it’s important to remember that you have one chance to make a first and lasting impression on prospects. However, depending on the types of videos you’re creating, the length can vary. When it comes to other kinds of videos, such as a “Day in the Life,” the video should be longer than 30 seconds to tell the whole story.
